Handgun Level 1
We call this our basic class.. but don't let that fool you.
- If you grew up shooting or hunting, but didn't have any formal handgun training.. this class is for you.
- If you were in the military some odd years ago, but didn't have any formal handgun training (or training was a long time ago).. this class is for you.
- If grandpappy taught you to shoot coke bottles with a .357 mag in the back 40, but didn't have any formal handgun training.. this class if for you. Also, grandpappy was probably super based and you should do whatever he says.. but let us handle the professional pistol training.
- If you are brand new and have never even held a handgun before.. this class is for you.
With a breadth of experience, I will tailor a class to the needs of the students to challenge and grow anyone who shows up.
Our basic handgun class that will cover the following:
- Fundamentals of marksmanship
- Firearms Safety
- Range Etiquette
- Beginning of malfunction clearances
The outline for this class is four hours, but it likely will go longer than that.
Handgun Level 2
This class gets into more advanced manipulations while still reinforcing the basics.. This class will revisit everything in level 1 as well as:
- Reloading pistols
- Malfunction Clearances
- Drawing from the holster
- Multiple target engagements
- Varying distance engagements
- and more
Handgun level 1 is a prerequisite to sign up for this class, unless you have completed a separate beginner level class from another reputable instructor within a reasonable amount of time (or had recurring training). Send me an email if you want to provide that information and attend this class.
